So confused, a new girl, an ex, long story i really need advice

Ok so ive recently meet this new girl i believe she like me, im pretty sure i have a chance with her, but it been 5 months maybe more since me and my ex broke up, she was basically the first girl i actually loved, i still semi talk to her and for some reason i would still like to go out with her but im being realistic and odds are we arent, is it best for me to go out with this other chick or should i just be alone, cause i hear u never really get over ure first love, im not really looking for love anyway right now, maybe soem1 to have some fun, but my mind is spinning i need some advice,

I think you are on the rebound. You did not really consider if you like this girl or not. Why don't you just stay as friends with her first and then later on, decide if you might want to carry on with her as serious girlfriend? Give yourself some time to get over your ex. Good luck to you.
ah, the first love. Yes it is true. But if you think you and your ex will not have a chance anyways then why let this impede your future to have a great girlfriend?
