I am going to New Haven in three or four weeks to search for my Italian ancestors. I plan to go to the library, the hall of records, the cemetery, courthouse, ethnic heritage center...etc. Any advice on where I should start on this trip?New Haven, CT. genealogy trip...need advice on how to organize?
Get to a library fast and find a book on Genealogy Research, or call the local historical society and see if they have something printed.
You need family sheets completed and all the data you have on the people your going to search for.
