New School? Advice pleasee.?

ok. right firstly by the way im 13 :)


right. basically in a couple of months im moving like pretty far away - and im starting a new school. which i dont mind about its just ive never moved to a new school without already knowing people, so heres my problem im a little worried about making friends ive made friends before but ive had other friends i already knew so basically i dont really know how to? if that makes sence. so i was just wondering if any of you guys know the best way to make friends could you please help, like could you explain how to and what to say, thanks :]New School? Well Sweetie first off be calm and don't get all worked up that will just make it worse on you...When anyone moves to a new school you will have other girls look at you and even judge you before getting the chance to know you...Then again you will have people that are and will come up to you and be excited to meet the new girl in school...It is just mainly curiosity that makes them on edge when meeting someone new coming to their school...See they have already been there made friends some may even be afraid that you might take their boyfriend or best friend away or they may be worried that you are prettier than them....Just be yourself and don't try to hard don't go over the top to make people like you....Be who you truly are and they will like you for who you are be involved in the school like football game, clubs, and ect....Make it a experience not a tragedy....Keep in touch with your other friends that will be a good outlet for you so that you can call up one of your old friends and let them know what is bothering you and what is going on....And it will all be ok in time it may take you a little while but it wont be as hard as you are making it seem....

well, if you are the only kid new in the class then everyone pretty much tries to be friends with you so I wouldn't worry too much, just try and make conversation, start with 'can i borrow a pen/ ruler/ rubber/ whatever and it will probably carry on from there. your form tutor will probably ask a group of girls to be friends with you anyway and show you around and look after you! good luck :)
I was in your situation once. You don't need to worry. The teacher actually 'asigned' or wotevr yhoo want 2 call it, someone to me. We became good m8's. Just be yourself thats the best thing to do. And if you are worried, and don't make friends after a little while than maybe you should talk to someone, like your form tutor, and maybe they could help.





Anyway, I'm sure you'll make new friends pretty soon and you've still got your old friends.

the best way to make new friends is to just be yourself talk to as many people as possible and if some dont accept you for who you are then there not the right friends for you but usually everyone wants to be friends with the new person so it should be easy setteling in youll feel at home before you know it
contact the town hall education department and ask them for school performance and results in your area they will send you or search online for best schools ranking for 2007.
