New PC advice?

Hi,


I want to buy a new base unit and want to know the best one to buy.


I want large storage and a fast processor with lots of RAM so that the kids can play games etc. Can anyone recommend one? It's for home use but I want it to be very fast and also used as the master for wireless networking.

Vista (so you can get tech support)


at least 2 GB or RAM


120-500 GB HDD


1.6 - 3.0 GHz processor


DVD/CD drive/burner

Do not buy a pc with less than 2 gigabytes of ram or less than a dualcore processor.
Do you have an estimated price budget?





If it's going to only be used for basic use and networking, you may want to get a Dell. They're pretty simple %26amp; affordable.





Go online (Dell.com) and setup the PC you want, you can add as much RAM and storage as it's compatible with.





Another thing, you said that you want it to be fast....are you going to be using it for gaming? If this is the case, expect to spend more on a graphics card.
