Ebay: I'm thinking of trying to sell some items on Ebay. Do you have any advice for a brand new seller?

Advice for a new seller, from a previous highly rated seller.

1. Check out all of the fees including e-payment fees before you sell so you're not blindsided by the amount of fees.

2. Respond clearly to questions from e-bay members. Check your e-mail several times a day during the first few days, and then repeatedly as the sale nears the end. You might have a prospective buyer submitting a last minute question.

3. Describe your merchandise as clearly and as honestly as possible. Note any flaws with the item - and check it over 3 times.

4. CLEARLY state your policys - shipping cost, not returnable, when they may expect to receive the item after the auction ends, and anything else you need to make crystal clear.

5. Stock up on your shipping supplies - mailers, bubble wrap, boxes, stamps, etc.

6. Have fun and don't let it consume all of your time!Ebay: I'm thinking of trying to sell some items on Ebay. Do you have any advice for a brand new seller?
Hi,

1) Don't try to find hot selling items. Much of your success depends on HOW you sell and not WHAT you sell.

2) Learn how to optimise the listings including the right keywords.

3) A must-have is an appealing product picture on the listing.

4) The listing must be easy-to-scan to make your visitors stay at the listing - not leave within a few seconds.

5) Loads of stuff you can learn from a 5 day Free Video Course from a website below.
