What do i feed my brand new puppy, i'm needing advice!!?

we won't be able to go and pick him up for another two weeks, but we adopted him today :) but i'm unsure of what to feed him, with all this talk lately now i don't know if i trust IAMS to be the best, can anyone help me find out if IAMS is still good dog food. thanks. What do i feed my brand new puppy, i'm needing advice!!?
Forget Iams.Nutros is better. I swear by it. Nutros Max is unnecessary unless your puppy is needing extra supplements. This brand does not use a bunch of fillers and is naturally preserved with vitamin e. Find it at a feed and grain store or pet store.

You may think it is more expensive than the cheap foods but it is more concentrated also.

Be sure to find out what the puppy has been eating and transition him to the new food gradually by mixing increasing amounts with the former food. What do i feed my brand new puppy, i'm needing advice!!?
Iams and Eukanuba are completely safe, I've fed Eukanuba for 15 years and never had a problem with the food. MY shepherds have beautiful coats, healthy skin, bright eyes and their health is excellent. The only dry food that is recalled is Hill's Prescription Diet for cats

These foods are not on the recall list, and do not get their ingredients from the affected suppliers.

You can read more on http://www.libertydogtraining.com
With everything going on i the dog food world now I'd be very careful. Iams is one of my least favorite anyway. I try to stay away from anything that has meat-byproduct listed. Make sure you read the Menu foods recall list. I like Nature's Variety and Exclusive (from Purina Mills). My dogs (2 American Bulldogs, 1 Shep/Rott/Chow mix %26amp; 1 Staffordshire Bull Terrier) do performance events-obedience, agility, %26amp; flyball and have done very well on these foods. Good luck with your new baby!
IAMS has never been a good food.... never, and it never will.

I'm sure all of those 'experienced' ';vet techs'; will come around this corner and tell you what to feed your pet because they 'know better than everyone'. But anyway, I feed my dogs TimberWolf Organics. It is NOT involved with the recall in any way because it only contains good things. You can visit; Timberwolforganics.com there are also some other good food as well. chickensoupforthepetloverssoul.com royalcanin.com and some others.
Our vet highly suggests Hills Science Diet. You need to go to a pet store or your vet to buy it, but they are really the best food. Science diet is the industry standard, doesn't deviate from the recipe, and is not more expensive than other dog food. Our vet says it is the only one that is consistently consistent. If you test the food today and then test it again in 6 months, the make up will be the same. Always. Also, they did not use any of the wheat gluten and was not recalled. So, it should be safe!

Our dogs have consistently been fed Science diet and we are frequently complimented on our dogs' coats and composition. You get to feed them less and they stool less as well. All together it is a great package.
We use Science Diet and love it!
I feed my puppy this great food called ';Wellness'; i use the puppy formula(in a pink bag) she loves the taste and its full of all natural ingredients such as blueberries, sweetpotatoes......ect...... plus it wasnt of that list of recall foods so thats a plus : ) This is top quality food and i highly reccomend it. good luck and have fun with your new puppy!
I feed my dog California Natural. Check out the website.
IAMS is very unhealthy food. Its full of fillers and by products. If you want to a healthy food with no fillers or by products try Innova, California Natural or Karma.

Also there is Blue Buffalo: http://www.bluebuff.com/

Chicken Soup for the Pet Lovers Soul is really good also!:

Wheat Gluten is NOT used in any of the products so you don't have to worry about the food recall.

Hope that helped!

  • Need advice on new relationship/ with ex problems.?

my boyfriend is continuing a friendship with an ex girlfriend. this is a completely one sided love triangle on her part. i have never met her, and have asked for him to introduce us, but he has not. we live in different states, and he usually always drives to me. i have been told by a friend of his that this ex girlfriend will never give up hope that there will be a change of heart from my boyfriend, and even has recently declined a very lucrative job offer in another state, stating that she believes that my boyfriend is jealous of what she does and with who. i believe that there is no romantic relationship between the two, but i am ready to end things because of his lack of concern with my feelings. i have asked to be involved in this friendship, and get no result. her name is never mentioned, and when i mention it.... terrible fight because he thinks i am accusing him of cheating. please help. i am confused and at my wits end.Need advice on new relationship/ with ex problems.?
She's the ex,no matter what she says or wants he's with you now and that says it all,if you trust him this shouldn't be a problem. Don't let this break you up, you have made the effort to be friends with her too by asking to meet her so if I were you I would just let it drop. Good luck xNeed advice on new relationship/ with ex problems.?
i think is better you end that relationship

Some advice about new job, and the contracts?

hello, I am a new member of the working class and will work as a teacher in English .if you were me and received the comfirmed letter as follow, what more crucial and important questions would you ask from the company?

It is with great pleasure that we offer you a position at ******company. This letter is to confirm the offer of employment made to you by *****School. In summary, our offer terms are as follows:

    鈥?Start Date: **********

    鈥?Title: Teacher

鈥?Salary package: ********before probation, ******* after probation (Gross)

    鈥?Manager: Director

鈥?Holiday: 9 days for the first year, 13days for the second year, 16 days for the third year

鈥?Other benefits: According to state regulations

Please sign below as an acceptance of this offer. Once we receive this signed offer letter, we will prepare a formal setsigned offer letter, we will prepare a formal set of contracts and documents, in both English and *******for you to sign when you are on board. Some advice about new job, and the contracts?
The most critical for you will be to get a detailed description and cost of the the benefit package to which you are entitled in accordance iwth ';state regulations.'; Does it include health care benefits? Are these fully paid by the employer or do you have to pay a portion? Are a variety of plans available to choose from? For example HMO vs. Preferred Provider. If you have a family will you be able to insure your spouse and children under the plan.

Is there a pension plan paid at least partly by the State? How does it work? How long do you have to work to get some vested right in the plan? Generally, what percentage of your salary can you expect to receive at the termination of your career?

Does the job offer dental insurance?

You may also want to explore the dynamics of the particular school. What is the turn over ratio? How are teaching assignments structured? Team teaching? What resources are available? Why have teachers left for other schools or positions? Hope this helps a little. Some advice about new job, and the contracts?
is this a new post or has the previous teacher left (if so, why?)

please clarify my responsibilities (they may seem obvious but you can't make any assumptions)

sooner or later a student will not accept the authority of his teacher, what are the procedures I should follow when this happens?

how will my performance be measured? I am keen to succeed.

Does the school have a mentoring programme for new teachers?

(personally, if this were my first job offer I would just take it to get the experience)
Looks to be a standard offer letter. 9 days vacation (as a starting teacher) sounds good to me.

If you're comfortable with the pay and you want to work at the school, then sign it.

Also, is this a public or private school? If its a public school you'll also be paying dues into the teachers' union.
Looks okay except that nothing is mentioned about your responsibilities. This might, however, be incorporated in the contract you will sign.

    Peace and blessings!

Can anyone tell me advice of going into a new job?

I heard there are alot of politics just want to know how to deal with itCan anyone tell me advice of going into a new job?
Do not be late. Spend most of your time listening to others, especially the one who is training you. Keep your nose close to the ground. No one likes a know it all.

Enjoy your job, take it seriously yet don't be a stiff. Be honest. If you mess up, admit to it and learn from your mistakes.

Last of all.......no whining. No one, employers and employees, hate a whiner! Good luck
